Born and raised in Santa Fe, a city rich with art and culture, Robert fell in love with art as a young man. Without any formal training, he taught himself the art of fabrication and design. Robert has over twenty years of experience. Some of his art is seen in public spaces, including a 40-foot by 60-foot cottonwood tree that stands in front of the Los Lunas, New Mexico, courthouse. Most recently, he completed a commission for a permanent installation that is showcased as you enter Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale, Arizona. This piece is known as one of the largest standing stainless steel butterfly sculptures.
Robert is a two-time Best of Show winner at the Contemporary Hispanic Market in Santa Fe.”
